Porqueno Art Exhibition

Right before my 3 month Europe holiday in 2023, I was asked to participate in an art exhibition. With only 2 weeks to create 6 paintings when I got back, the pressure was on.

The exhibition was themed around the artists exploration for sustainability and each painting was based on a specific environmental issue.

Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing landscapes witnessed during my travels, my acrylic canvases embody a fusion of abstract expression and environmental consciousness. In Iceland, amidst a tumultuous snowstorm and relentless hurricane winds, I found myself in awe of nature's breathtaking beauty and formidable force. These experiences ignited a profound realization of our planet's vulnerability.

My paintings transcend the confines of the present, offering glimpses into a future shaped by the consequences of climate change. Each artwork reflects the imagined perspective of a denizen of tomorrow, yearning for a world restored to its former glory.
